  • Salem Repeater association - Try out the other local repeaters I help with, the Salem Repeater Association 146.86, 147.02, 443.725, and 145.33 repeaters which use a 186.2 Hz tone. Also the 441.275 Yeasu System Fusion Repeater which uses a 100 Hz FM tone. It is usually linked to the 146.86 repeater.
  • Fix your Yaesu WIRES problem without making permanent changes. Most Yaesu radios will transmit tones that cut you out of repeaters for a few seconds. This can fix the problem.
  • Hams must have towers! - some information that affects local hams wishing to install towers; please contribute local information sources.
  • ARRL Video: Amateur Radio Parity Act - what is it? - Great video about the Parity Act.
  • A simple 2 element Quad - here is a great quad for use in bunny hunts or to just improve your HT performance.
  • Oregon Ham Radio Law - hb2377 - Hams that use Radio from the car might wish to print this page to avoid conflicts with local enforcement officers who are not informed of the right to use a radio while in motion.
