Santa Maria ARES operates three local repeaters:

KM6DF

Located on Graciosa Ridge South of Santa Maria.

145.140 MHz, minus offset, 131.8 Hz PL input & output tones.

Echolink node KM6DF-R (# 267765) is connected to this repeater.

Monday nights Amateur Radio Newsline airs at 8:30 PM.

Tuesday night: ARES net at 7:30 PM (except the last Tuesday of the month)

WB6FLY

Located at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA.

147.300 MHz, plus offset, 131.8 Hz PL input & output tones.

This repeater is used for the ARES net on the last Tuesday of the month or in the event of a failure of the KM6DF repeater.

AD6EA/Portable

Portable 10 watt repeater, normally stored at the Santa Maria EOC.

147.915 MHz, minus offset, no PL tone

ARES nets and repeater activities:
ARES conducts a net every Tuesday night at 1930 local time on the KM6DF repeater. On the last Tuesday of the month, the net is conducted on the WB6FLY 147.300 MHz + 131.8 repeater.

Immediately after the close of the ARES FM net, the Santa Barbara Section VHF SSB net takes place on 144.230 MHz USB.

At 2030 local time, on Monday nights the Amateur Radio Newsline program is aired over the KM6DF repeater.
