Field Day 99 - GARC |
The site: Kaspian campground located near Tahoe City, California. We had three tents set up to operate as N0RM, each with its own Yaesu 757GX on a different band. Contacts were made on 10 through 80 meters. Also in each tent was a laptop running CT logging software and was networked with the other two tents. This allowed the operator to check to see if we had worked that station before. If we hadn't, it would add the station as a contact with its appropriate info. It worked very well! We worked both SSB and CW, and made over 1500 contacts - approximately 5700 points (with bonuses added in) |
