This page is in its eternal infancy, but hopefully (if I ever find the time...) it will become a resource for VHF/UHF weak signal contesting, with a particular focus on rovers.

What's Going on in January?

Who knows... Check back soon for plans and frequencies.

What is ‘Weak Signal’ operating?

VHF Weak signal operators work Single sideband and CW on bands above 50mHz. Contacts of more than 2,000 miles have been recorded on 2 meter SSB. For more information see the Western States Weak Signal Society.

What is a ‘Rover’?

According to the ARRL, a rover is a station that has “One or two operators of a single station that moves among two or more grid squares during the course of a contest.”
