Annual Events

Member's Meetings

One is actually in the works! Planned speakers to include Dan K6PRK on the club's newly installed Remote Base system, and Bob W6OPO on Virtues of Repeater Coordination.

Director's Meetings

These meetings are held roughly quarterly and frequently align with a Fifth Saturday Breakfast. The current business of the club is discussed. All are welcome to attend.

Fifth Saturday Breakfast

In any month that has a Fifth Saturday we select a location for a no-host breakfast. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and socialize with other members and friends. Feel free to bring in any current project(s) you may be working on; show it off or ask for help. Of course spouses, friends, and guests are always welcome.

Location and Directions Hick'ry Pit is located at 980 E Campbell Ave in Campbell. From Hwy 17 approach the Hamilton Ave exit; this is the first exit south of I-280. If you approached from the north, take the exit ramp then turn left at the light on to Hamilton Ave, crossing over the freeway. If you approached from the south, take the exit ramp moving to the center lane by the top of the ramp, at the light turn left and then right at the next light to arrive on Hamilton Ave. On Hamilton Ave, turn right on Bascom Ave. Turn right at the third light on Campbell Ave. The Hick'ry Pit is immediately behind the Shell gas station on your left. Talk-in on K6FB/R 2m and 70cm. Restaurant telephone: 408.371.2400. Look for our group at the back of the restaurant.

Members Picnic

Each summer we schedule a potluck and picnic. This is a good opportunity to socialize with members, spouses, and family members. We are always on the lookout for locations and someone to help organize this event. Are you interested in helping out? Please contact any Director.

Holidaze Party

This traditional event is a no host event at a local restaurant. We meet to give thanks for family and friends, exchange "Secret Santa" gifts, and enjoy a nice meal among the camaraderie of your fellow hams and their families. Plan to join us in early December. If you are interested in joining the party committee please see any Director.
