My name is David Baird, and I have a Technician license. I have passed the written portion of the General test, and now I need to practice CW. I hope to get a General license by the summer of 2000.

My company, Tandem Computers (now part of Compaq) has had a ham radio club for a long time, in large part because the company founder, Jimmy Treybig, is a big ham radio buff. In the last year, I've become involved with the Tandem Radio Amateur Club (TRAC).
