(4/27/2002) Welcome to a link to my main web site for ham radio mobile operation.  The purpose of my site is to promote mobile HF radio operation by showing details of my installation and travels.  Photos included an my old station photo from 1957 or '58.   

Mobile operation is for 80 to 10 meter SSB and VHF/UHF FM.  This information is for a 1989 VW Westphalia but of course, many of the tips are useful in any  installation.

Reference books and part sources are listed.  You will find a reasonable amount of detail to prepare your installation, plan the wiring and build an equipment mount.   New information to build your own HF/VHF solid state amplifiers.

Most important is the antenna installation and details are included to construct a large HF whip for 20M to 10M operation.  Additional details are located in the part sources.  In time, a 500 watt installation will be included.
