My name is William "Hawk" Bennett & I am a New Ham (5/5/99). My original call sign was KD5HCX, but I lucked into the present call sign as of 7/12/99. I usually reside on the 2M & 7cM bands. I own a Alinco DR-610TQ & run a Lincon dual-band antenna.

I was born in August 20th of 1959, in San Antonio, Texas. I grew up in or just south of Pearsall Texas during my youth. I graduated from Pearsall High in 1978. My education involved:

I have recieved a B.S. in Range Animal Science (Equine Specialty) with a minor in Computer Sciences. I have been in the Computer Industries since 1983. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am married to a wonderful lady named Andrea Eyraud. I have two step-sons, Andrea's from a prior marriage, named Christopher Davis (08/08/82) and Steven Davis (12/11/84). I, also, have a set of boy/girl twins named Lance & Laura (05/08/95).
