 About me...
Welcome to my Amateur Radio Website. My name is Terry West and I've been a licensed Amateur (ham) operator since September 1980. My current callsign is K4VH, but I was originally licensed as KA4RQN. When I upgraded, I became N4ETF as a General class, KE4CZ as an Advanced class and WB4F as an Extra class. I've also had W4TWA and WA4TW as vanity callsigns (Guess I've kept the FCC busy).

In my early years, I operated most of the HF bands and VHF. Now I'm exclusively on 222MHz and can be found lurking on the WR4AMS repeater system. This system consists of multiple 222MHz repeaters linked via UHF and has super coverage. Our 222MHz repeater system gets more usage than most 2 meter systems! If you operate 222MHz and are ever in the eastern part of Kentucky, drop by 224.520, 224.720, 224.820 or 224.980 and put out a call. Chances are you'll get an answer and get to enjoy Kentucky's premier 222MHz system.
