Welcome to K4TL's homepage.
- Hello, my name is Curt Parrish and I've been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1951. My first call was W4SVX, which I held for twenty-five years. In 1976, I applied for a 1X2 call and the FCC assigned K4TL. I hold the amateur Extra class license.
- My main interests in amateur radio are several of the digital modes, i.e. CW, RTTY, SSTV and packet.
- I do a lot of listening, but not much transmitting.
- My station is made up of mostly Kenwood equipment, including a TS-830S h.f. transceiver, a TS-440S/AT h.f. transceiver, an AT-230 antenna tuner, a PS-50 power supply, and a TM-241A 2-meter transceiver. For digital modes I use a '386 compatible computer. Antennas are a Butternut vertical, a 40-meter coaxial dipole and a Cushcraft Ringo Ranger II.
Since I'm a beginner at designing web pages, this page will be under construction for a while!
