My first call was W4SVX, which I held for twenty-five years. In 1976, I applied for a 1X2 call and the FCC assigned K4TL. I hold the amateur Extra class license. \par {\pntext\f1\'b7\tab}My main interests in amateur radio are several of the digital modes, i.e. CW, RTTY, SSTV and packet. \par {\pntext\f1\'b7\tab}I do a lot of listening, but not much transmitting. \par {\pntext\f1\'b7\tab}My station is made up of mostly Kenwood equipment, including a TS-830S h.f. transceiver, a TS-440S/AT h.f. transceiver, an AT-230 antenna tuner, a PS-50 power supply, and a TM-241A 2-meter transceiver. For digital modes I use a '386 compatible computer. Antennas are a Butternut vertical, a 40-meter coaxial dipole and a Cushcraft Ringo Ranger II. \par \pard\qc\plain\f4\fs32\cf3 \par \plain\f4\fs32\cf2 Since I'm a beginner at designing web pages, this page will be under construction for a while! \par If you would like to send e-mail, send it to k4tl@qsl.net. \par \pard\plain\f4\fs32\cf2 73...de Curt, K4TL \par \par Thanks to Al Waller, K3TKJ, for making this web space available.
