Tnx for looking me up! I got my first ticket in 1964 WA4PJF. I was inactive regrettably for many years, but I'm glad to be radio active again. I am currently licensed as extra class, and I enjoy SSB, CW, ATV, and working DX. The thing I enjoy most is meeting people from all over the world like you. I think we hams are privileged to be able to make new friends and acquaintances in every corner of the globe... I respond to all QSL's. I am, WAS, WAC, and working on DXCC!! I am an active member of the Mobile Amateur Radio Club.
My HF rig is a Yaesu 920, SB-220, three ele Quad at 60ft on 20-10mtrs, and inverted V at 65ft on 80 and 40 mtrs.
I've recently become very interested in ATV, and my rig is a PC Electronics TC70-20 into a 25 ele yagi at 75ft. I am a member of the Gulf Coast Amateur Television Society (link coming).
I am a bivocational pastor, and I have been active in the ministry for about twenty one years. I also am self employed as a cabinetmaker (Chambless Cabinetmaking And Furniture Shop). I specialize in building reproduction antique furniture as well as restoring antiques, I have also worked with wood for over twenty years.
My XYL Jane and I have been married for thirty years, and we're blessed with three wonderful children, two daughters and a son. We recently added to our family a fine son-in-law and a granddog!!
