Take 19-400 North at Chestatee River turn left on to 19&60 North
turn left on to 52-9 Follow 52-9 till it splits to the right follow 52.
on Hwy 52 go 4.7miles+ - (old store) at Nimblewell Church Rd. turn
right,
go 2.3 Miles to State Forestry Rd. 28-1. The trail will be marked the
rest
of the way and we will be listing to 146.535 simplex. Map

WAR WOMAN ROAD - Map -
North I-85 to 985 will turn into 441 to Clayton, in Clayton go to the
second light WAR WOMAN ROAD (Wendy's/Motel/Chevron on the corner) Turn
right go 5-7 miles passed a Volunteer Fire Station on right go about
1/2
to mile to HALE RIDGE ROAD turn left dirt road ( if gone past
creek/river
you went too far) 5-7 miles to * (see attached map)
* 1St camp Site is a 1/4 mile before OVERFLOW ROAD (Holcomb) the last
sharp right and you should see the camp site from the top of that turn
looking down. (of course you know this if you already been here)
* 2nd Camp Site - OVERFLOW ROAD turn right 5 mile crossed
a " ' small ' " bridge will be next left less than 1/4 mile on the left
( if you come to the fork in the road you went Too far)
Repeater for the area but not for the camp site is 147.33 there is a
tone for the repeater but I don't have that PL but it's in the book.
