To the Members-
Our May DX dinner was a great success
I would like to thank Steve W4DTA for his
presentation of his DAYTON trip at our July meeting. Not as
much fun as being there, but enjoyable. As
we continue through the summer doldrums your Officers and Board
Members are continuing to plan for improvements in the
organization and programs for this Fall. Hopefully some of
the ideas and change proposals will be ready for membership review
at the September 5th meeting. We are looking
to get more 2 meter activity and in that interest the weekly DX
Net will be implemented on Wednesday evenings at 00:00Z (8:00pm
local). Please check in and join the discussion.
I encourage all members to review the new Web Site, check out
the many features and useful links. If errors are found we
would appreciate your reporting the details to W4QN, his address
is on the web. We are still looking for member station and
antenna photo's as well as your DX achievements. Please send
those to W4QN as well for inclusion on the web.
Looking forward to a great Fall DX season, ten meters is showing
some life, and maybe cycle 24 is on the way up. 73 & Great DX
