Dosimeter - Charger

The Jordan Model 750-5 Dosimeter Charger was used by Civil Defense agency radiation detection program.   The circuit steps up the voltage from a "D" battery to 220 volts to "charge" or zero the dosimeter. The unit includes a light bulb to also use this as a dosimeter reader, when no other light source is available.

Approximately 515,000 of these devises were built.

Device is 4" x 4" x 2"   Cover is secured with thumb screw in middle.  Adjustment knob can be used with your project.

With cover removed   Circuit on bottom of cover.  Can easily be removed.
