The Kentucky Mountains Amateur Radio Club had a very active year in1995. Under the leadership of President Zach Hale, KE4BHZ, the club had numerous activities, including the first ever Hazard Swapfest on the secondSaturday of of March. Other activities included:
1. A resumption of VE Examinations in Hazard.
2. A good field day with a big membership turnout.
3. A Special Events Station at the Black Gold Festival in September- the first since the first festival.
4. Many new members and upgrades.
