Well, Al is back from suffering great hardships and deprivations on Andros Island, Bahamas, such as working South American DX on 6 meters almost nightly and contributing storytime fodder to native voodoo practitioners. He is in the process of finishing a new building for QSL.net World Headquarters, and all 43 servers are due to move in soon. In the interim, to get over the excessive heat of the Bahamas, Al will be traveling first to California, and then to Northern Norway for 6 weeks of fun in the sun, rather close to the Murmansk. He will be QRV on 6 meters with an FT-847 and 5 element beam, exact grid to be determined on location. In the meantime, he just returned from a tiring but fun 6 meter weekend in Fenwick Island, Delaware (FM28) with N3NO & yours truly. The band complied and combined we worked 126 U.S. stations on the afternoon & evening of November 31- December 1 2002 on strong sporadic E. If you worked us on Fenwick Island & need FM28 or Delaware confirmed, QSL via N3DB at his QRZ.com address with SASE. (You didn't think Al was gonna use his cards or callsign did you?) Check out photos of the Fenwick Island operation here to see how tired we got.
