LOGic Files for Download
LOGic Files for Download FTP Site
This site contains additional forms and setups not included at the LOGic FTP site. It is not meant to duplicate what can be found at the PDA public FTP site, but to provide space for additional layouts by members of the LOGic Reflector (mailing list). Credit is given to the person who made the contribution. New reports, contests, etc. will be posted here. There isn't much here yet...
TIP: Be sure to download both the .FPT and .REP files for each desired Report
WB2JRI (Tony Boykin) designs:
Once you have a Qsl card or envelope layout, you can use it as a template for other designs. The only problem is finding good background pictures for the cards. To date I have about 12 Qsl card designs with and with out pictures, depending on how much ink I what to use.
"Buro Qsl" which uses only 3 colors. Black for most the printing and simple hand drawn background picture. I print on 4x6 white plain index cards which I cut down to 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 Qsl. And a little red or green for a "Qsl card request usually a red check mark or green for a "Tnx for the Qsl". I use this design for a mass Qsl printing and 10-10# contact Qsl. And to finish off the cards I use a little Krayon "clear"spray paint to water proof the card and give it a little sheen, this also keep cards from turning yellow for a wile for those "Smoking Hams out there" hi
WQ7A (Terry Dummler) designs:
MRC (County Hunters) Report- For you county hunters out there that use Logic. This report adds a couple of small corrections that need to be made to the original 'mrc' report.
First: the RST is changed from RST_SENT to RST_RCVD for each of the eight entries in that column.
Second: it adds the PRINT WHEN line for each of those RST_SENT properties to be the same as its neighbor to the left (freq). That is " !empty(call8) " etc. Otherwise you will find some of the RST fields will not print. It seemed random to me, never did figure out why some printed and some didn't. I am also going to add those Print When lines to all the columns to the right of the Freq column.
Also, the Page Setup Page Width is changed to 5.450" for my printer so that the last line printed would fall on the paper. This is probably different for each printer.
W4YDY (Dave Langley) designs:
Dave has made some Mobile Reply Cards (MRC) for LOGic. There are 3 versions for up to 5, 6 or 8 reports per card. There is a plain version with no picture. There is space for a picture if one is wanted. It prints 4 cards to a sheet with starting location at 1, 2, 3 or 4. He uses 65 lb paper from Office Depot and use a paper cutter to make them 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches.
He has a clip art picture of a car and an 18 wheeler with antennas added. For the mobiles that he has contacted many times, he has set up a few separate cards with their pictures (from the Internet) on it in another folder. Those print up to 8 QSO's per card.
Dave has also redesigned the MRC report to fix errors that were present in the origina.
K1UQ (Bill Lawless) designs:
This is a direct link to Bill's website where you can find visual samples and reports of QSL designs, Envelope Reports and Label Reports. The envelope reports require no printing, no addressing (both mailing and return addresses are printed on QSL card and inserted into a double windowed envelope and sealed).
Bill offers the following TIP: "I learned how to do these layouts by reading the LOGic Help Files. So can you!!"
IK0HBN (Sante Lillo):
Contains a zip file pf the Italian Provinces provided by Sante.
AB4RL (Art Tan):
Contains a zip file for the PA QSO Party and a zip file for the logform to use for the Scandanavian Activity Contest .
PA8CW (Jan de Graaf):
Jan has provided a report as a zip file to produce SWL labels.
1. Open the - modify report - and your favorite QSL label with the option to include an individual message as supplied by Logic; for instance: MULTIPLE QSL LABELS, 3 QSOS PER LABEL 2-ACROSS.REP).
2. Save the label under a different name (SWL xyz.rep).
3. Leave one line below - Date - UTC - Mode - RST in place and delete the other ones (assumed one confirmation per call per SWL will do).
4. Move the - all_msg - to the top of the label.
5. Move the former top line of the label to the bottom of the label, and
6. Replace the contents with something like: "CFM QSO PA8CW with "+trim(call)________________
7. Delete the contents of - after run - (this is to avoid the message to yes or no confirm the sending of the label and replace -R- with -F- (this is of course not relevant to an SWL report).
8. Save the label again (you will be able to retrieve it under QSL labels), and close the report writer.
To print an SWL label:

1. Go to QSL and select the SWL label.
2. You will now be requested to enter a message, and enter according tot the SWL the details; for instance: - To SWL UA.153.199-2 - Alex in Moscow -
3. In the next screen go to the filter and select the call which your station had the particular QSO.
4. Print the label.
5. Do not forget to change the previous message when you print 'normal' QSL labels again!

That's all and in less than 15 minutes!
