The club made its third visit to the Sandy Hook
Lighthouse on October 26 and operated outdoors as part of
Fort Hancock Establishment day. This was our best
operating session, with over 20 DX contacts. Several
local hams visited and joined us for hamburgers and hot
dogs. We also demonstrated Morse for kids. They
love to have us guess their name when they send it using our
oscillator. We'll be back next May for Coastal
Defenses Day.
LICENSE ADVANCEMENT TRAINING
Starting in January, 2009, the club will
hold weekly training classes for those Technicians who are
interested in advancing to the General class license and
enjoying the activities on the HF bands. To learn more
