K1UHF's 10GHZ STATION

My transverter is mounted in a 8" x 8" x 9" weatherproof box mounted on the back of a 2 foot prime
focus dish. The feed for the dish is a Chapparel 11GHz Superfeed machined to fit on 3/4" plumbing
pipe "waveguide". The round pipe waveguide uses a septum to define the horizontal polarization and
is fed with a home made 3/4" round wavguide launcher. All of the RF modules in the transverter were
obtained surplus except for the DEM/W1VT Zack Lau  preamp. The LO brick and the commercial
KU band LNA (not LNB) were retuned for 10GHz. The waveguide filter is homebrew.
Thanks to K2RIW, N2LIV and the Long Island 10X Group for inspiration and assistance.
