Amateur Radio Online

K1RJC

There are many excellent sites on the internet today devoted to the interests of amateur or "ham" radio, and while this site is UNDER CONSTRUCTION, we would like to begin with something.

Perhaps the most helpful ite that I can think of for amatuer radio is the American radio relay League located in Newington, Ct. This organization has a great web site for the licensed radio operator, but also for people who want to know more about the hobby. It is also an excellent source to learn how to get a license or to find out the latest news in the hobby. If you are interested in this site, please click ARRL.

QRZ has a great site for looking up amateurs not only by their call signs (or license) but also by their names and/or email addresses. This site also gets a download from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) daily revealing brand new calls that have been issued or upgraded the previous day. It is also a good site to find vacated calls that can be used in the vanity call sign program. If you are interested in going to the QRZ site, click below:

And then of course you could go to the source itself...
the Federal Communications Commission

If you would like to suggest a link to us, we would be more than willing to add it to this page. Please send your comments, suggestions, or help to K1RJC by clicking here.
