What is the North Country Amateur Radio Club?

The North Country Amateur Radio Club is a group of Radio Amateurs and those interested in Amateur Radio who are mostly from the northern parts of New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. The Club meets once a month to discuss club business and to usually have a presentation on some aspect of our mutual hobby. The Club also holds an Annual Field Day event in June when Club members set up their equipment using emergency power sources somewhere away from normal power mains. In the past we have used Weeks State Park in Lancaster and the Col. Town Community Camp facilities in east Lancaster. The Club also participates in other radio operating events and sponsors a Ham Radio and Computer Flea Market in Twin Mountain, NH in the Spring. In the past the Club has sponsored classes to assist those people interested in obtaining an Amateur Radio License.  The Club also supports the activities of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service and many members participate in weekly training networks and emergency drills.
