The V-Beverage antenna. Thinking about phased Beverage antennas, but not quite enough space?

This could be your answer to more space saving directivity, and a simplified feed system.

The usual two Beverage transformers, equal lengths of coax to keep everything in phase

is reduced to a single Beverage transformer connection.

Plot information is for a 1.830MHZ V Beverage (low elevation,in phase) .

Plug some numbers into your favorite modeling program, and see what you can come up with.

The original 40 meter V Beverage ran from the metal post, out on the short wooden stakes. The right leg passed under a taller single wire Beverage.

A KB-1 (350 ohm version) transformer works well in this application.
