147.075 - General class chicken little. I find myself with nothing to say. So I'm still stuck in 2 meter. Trying to find a way to over come the fear, so I will feel confident to head to HF, for which I'm licensed for. Great sight by the way, You look kind of Young for being as old as you claim to be. I was raised in Ellisville, But while you were doing the Army thing I was munching Gerbers latest cusines. I'm 47, as the e-mail addy includes my B-date. By Chance do you know N0JNC? neighbor in Ellisville since I was huh - one. I see him a lot more now, that I'm a Ham, than I remembered growing up. Hope to meet you one day.

I was born and brought up in Valley Park and left when I was 21. Viewing your pics of your airplanes at Weiss airport was super neat as I'm interested in flying, mainly a "wannabe" If I won a large lottery, I would move back to Valley Park for spring, summer, and fall. Then, I'd come back to Florida for the winters, thank you very much. Lots of great luck. Hope you're still going strong. Kath

Thank you paul for a most interesting look at your ham and flying experiences. I have been in ham radio since 1953. I soloed in an aeronica champ in 1951 while still in high school. Never did get a pvt license but love to fly. I was a cw op in the army from 54 to 56. Eventually ended up as an avionics tech for Braniff Airlines which later became Dalfort Aviation. I retired in 1996 and moved from Dallas to east texas where I now live with my bride Nancy. We will celebrate our 48th anniversary Oct 9th. Ijust want to thank you for this nice web page. I found your website while looking for plans for the Breezy Jr. Single Channel R/C Model airplane from the 196Ø's. I see that you also had a Babcock single channel radio with rubber band escapement. I too modified the transmitter similar to yours. You and I are alike in many respects. I too flew u-control and then free flight and r/c models. I got into Citizens Band radio then into amateur radio then got my pilots license. I still have a 2 meter HT. I am hoping to build an airplane in my retirement years. I'm 62 now. My wife and I plan to move to St. Augustine Florida in the next two years where I plan to get back into ham radio and flying airplanes, big or little. There is a lot of activity for both down there. I've Been to Sun and Fun 3 times and Oshkosh 7 times and met a lot of nice people. Many of them were also ameteur operators. I really like your website and I visit it often sometimes just for the music. Keep up the good work. Jim
