Hi! I'm Rex Greenwell - K0KP This photo was taken in 1972 while seated at my old shack WA7FKT in Ogden, Utah. The age back then was 22. The equipment includes a Heathkit HW 22A 40 meter SSB single band transceiver with matching speaker, and a newly constructed Heathkit SB 220 linear amplifier. The old Eico 753 oscilloscope was used for monitoring SSB transmissions. My all-time favorite mic, the Astatic D104, can be seen taking a prominent place at the operating bench. The red box contained a homebrew mic processor. The shack was built into the attic of my dad's house.

The D104 mic and the SB 220 amplifier are still in service in today's shack, and they still look as good as they did back then! Wish I could say that for myself...Hi Hi!
