ARRL reports that only 25% of the hams in the country have complied with the FCC rule requiring registration. Registration can be accomplished on line at the FCC site or by written form. Form is available from the FCC or ARRL. There is some misunderstanding that this optional. This is not the case, the FCC has simply allowed a period of voluntary compliance but there is no doubt that they will step up enforcement if more hams don't comply. If you haven't registered please do so. By the way this regulation applies to any person having any form of license from the FCC (TV, Commercial Radio, Marine etc) Printed copies of this newsletter will be available at the meeting. Since dues records have not been completed we don't know who are and are not members so no mailing list was available for this newsletter. Raytown Amateur Radio Club Home Site Click here to connect.
