The AMARC Multi-Band Remote Base HF Antenna Construction

At the present time the multi-band High Frequency antenna is under construction. Hopefully it will be completed next spring of 2ØØ9.

This antenna is of my design, and it had to be rugged enough to withstand high winds, and not be a lot of of wind loading for the tower.

I will try to add pictures as I complete portions of the antenna.

This antenna is a center fed dipole with a shorting choke to reduce static, and a fed line balun.

There will be a main dipole tuned to the 17 meter band, and about 27 feet long.

Then there will be 5 more additional dipoles, spaced around the center dipole, for the 6, 1Ø and 12 meter bands. With 2 dipoles for 6 meters, and 2 dipoles for the 1Ø meter band. This allows the system to operate both the SSB and FM portions of the bands.

The pictures are not labled or in order. I will arrange them when the antenna is completed.
