The AMARC Six Meter AM Repeater Antenna Systems

At the present time the 6 meter AM repeater receive antenna is a commercial DB Products half wave dipole, side mounted, at about the 4Ø foot level on the radio tower.

This antenna is tuned to 5Ø.4ØØ mhz.

Next Spring of 2ØØ9, this antenna will be re-mounted at about the 14Ø foot level on the radio tower as shown in the picture.

The picture is of the old 6 meter identical dipole which is tuned to the FM portion of the band.

The black color of the antenna is from the electrical tape covering the antenna. This was a factory option to prevent precipitation static.

At the present time the 6 meter AM transmitter antenna is a Dominator 5/8 Wave, 3 DB gain, vertical ground plane made by Norwalk Electronics.

This antenna is tuned to 5Ø.5ØØ mhz.

This antenna is mounted on a 3Ø foot slip-up mast, mounted on top of a 35 foot building located in Kirkwood, MO.

Sometime in the future, We would like to relocate the transmitter and antenna site to a higher location.
