We had a nice Christmas Party again this year. 67 people in all. And The Glendive Christmas Party was also well attended. All had a good time.

Charlie WØBHF Charlie has moved, so we will have to help get him a two meter ant up. So we can contact him.

Rolf DK4HB from Hamburg Germany called, and wanted to wish all a very Merry Christmas, and his best wishes to all, He mentioned the great time he had while he was in Dickinson. He has a new web site. It is www.alstertal.org  and if you click on forum. You will see some of the pictures of our area.

Congratulations to Laurie and Darrel on their 25th Wedding Anniversary. The surprise supper, was a surprise. A nice time was had by all.

The raffle of the boat has been approved, so we need to act soon.

It has been rather busy around this house. And I am sure all others also. I would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Margaret's Corner

2004 is history and how quickly it went. Since we didn't have a Newsletter in December this will be a recap of November happenings. On Nov. 7, Joe with trusty helpers Leon and Emil went to Killdeer to the 64 site for the purpose of installing equipment for the Williston Link. Leon played tower monkey and installed the antenna. Many conferences were held on air with Dave and it was good to hear Stan on the air for the first time after his long ordeal.

On Nov. 11 several ladies gathered at Betty's house for an afternoon of wrapping gifts and making snowmen for the Christmas Party. The guys kept Stan entertained. After the work was done Betty brought out goodies and an ice cream cake to celebrate Irene's birthday which was the 6th.

Our Christmas party was very enjoyable. The weather cooperated very well, at least on our end.  Although numbers were down everyone had a good time. Congratulations to Nicole Kittelson on winning the Grand Prize of $200.  Also a big Thank You to all who donated articles for the auction and door prizes, to all who bought the items, to those who helped out at the party and to everyone for coming out  and making it such a fun night.  Laurie's bear collection was enlarged by three when she got the bears that were raffled and a couple of auction items.  It was great to see people from the various surrounding communities.  As usual the food was excellent.  We also had a chance to sing Happy Anniversary to Bill and Irene who celebrated their 48th on that day and Darrel and Laurie whose 25th Anniversary was Dec.1.

December has been a mild month as of this writing.  We did have three days of fog in some areas but oh what a beautiful world it was on Thursday morning Dec. 9th. The trees were flocked and just gorgeous. Many remarks I heard mirrored my own thoughts - it would've been nice for Christmas morning.

Here's wishing everyone a Happy, Healthy New Year and don't forget to pray for our military as well as all those who need our prayers!
