KANSAI HAM FESTIVAL, 2003 in Osaka
Kansai is the name of our area, JA3. We are having "Kansai Ham Festival (KANHAM)" every June annually. In 2003, it was held in Ikeda City (JCC#2506), Osaka on 14-15, June. We established two special event stations for it. One was 8N3HAM to commemorate this event and another was 8N3KAN which was for Kansai Amateur Radio Activation Months, May-June. I served for these stations as one of the operating coordinators. Some 6,000 amateurs were gathered at the festival site. Further information in Japanese is available on the Official site of KANHAM 2003. Log Searches for these two stations are also on the web site.

HAM FAIR 1999 in Yokohama
The Ham Fair '99 was held in Yokohama this summer. I went there as one of the staffs of JARL Kansai. Besides keeping our booth, I enjoyed the fair very much. Especially, I could meet many members of the JANET Club who I've never met before. I want to attend it next summer again.

US Flag SUMMER 1997 in HAWAII
As I mention in the pages of "Amateur Radio" and "My personal information", I visited HAWAII in 1997. It was a free trip supported by ECC Foreign Language Institute. We, 4 representatives, stayed at UH Hale Aloha (the dormitory) and studied English at the University of Hawaii (UH) Manoa Campus for a month. Besides my study, I could see some HAMs there and operated K7IL/KH6. PLEASE CLICK U.S. FLAG now!
