Hi and welcome to my little space online.

My call is J69DS and the name is Frans. my hobby is Ham or amateur radio and this little page is dedicated to the hobby.
I have been a ham since 1994, my first call was j66ap and a year after achieving novice I sat general class exams and got the call I now have J69DS!

I am a member of the European Psk Club my number is 2114, I am also a member of the Digital Modes Club witht the number 460.

My favourite mode is psk in all baud rates, but I do enjoy all digital modes to some extent.
I am active on all bands from 80 meters up to 0.75 meters.
I run a packet station on 144.390 Mhz also, using a FT290R and a mfj 1260c tnc
On Vhf I use an Icom T90A and also a Yaesu VX7R and an Icom IC228H in the mobile with a 5/8 wave over 1/4 wave colinear antenna (5.2 db gain) CGT144 from hustler
On HF right now I use a Yeasu FT857D, I do own an Icom 707 but it is in repairs. :(
I Use a MFJ-945C manual tuner on hf
My antennae are a Hygain TH3 tribander on 20 15 and 10 meters, a G5RV, a sloper also on 20m meters, a 4 element quad on 2m, a 11 element yagi on 2m, a single quad on 2m
Little by little it will all improve, but it all takes time.
Pc is a mongrel based on a dell motherboard with a 2.66 ghz cpu, running windows xp an for radio control and digtal modes I use Ham radio deluxe and Digital master 780
