A brief "historical" summary

I got my licence in 1984 (I was 19 years old) and my first transceiver was a FDK-multi 700ax, VHF mobile transceiver. After short time I decided to go over and to test the SSB mode; so I bought a second-hand IC-202 and I began looking for DX. My third transceiver was a FT-221 and after some months I replaced it to a TS-711 A 16el. long Yagi was installed with 30 degrees of elevation and I had one of the first qso (EA3 stations) by FAI propagation in my province (1988). In 1988 I added the UHf band by a TS-811 and I began my satellite activity that continued for a term of seven years (you can see my sat log in the next pages). In 2000 the IC-706mkII HF-VHF transceiver came into the shack. It did a good job on six meters. For mountain top activity I used an old FT-290R till 2005. The last entry is the famous qrp all mode all bands FT-817. This is my main rig now. It's all. I also have a IC-E90 which is my faithful fellow when I go to mountain.
