The International Radioamateurs Club IUØPAW was founded in 1992 in Assisi, to join radioamateurs of all races, beliefs and cultures. The Millennium that's ending has seen man devided: wars,hunger and underdevelopment are a great shame. At the threshold of a new Millennium we feel that together, we can hope for more: a wide spread conversion to solidarity. We will work together to build this idea and everyday we'll be trying to build up conscious participation surrounding the culture of peace and spread the worldwide message of peace through Radioamateurs communications. Other utopias didn't seem achievable in the past decade: today they will become more likely.

This call, filled with idealism, thanks to you, could be a spark of hope for a better human condition.
