On 1972 my father, present me a "MIDLAND 23Ch." cb
transceiver; my first one, and so I started my "radio
adventure", and the passion caming UP!
With many friends of mine, we study to became HAMs and on 1989
I finally became an OM with the Call IK7NXU.

My first QSO on HF was made with Jose' EA9PY in Ceuta on 15mts.
On 1990 with a friend of mine IK7NXQ, we start our experiences
on packet, as pioneers in our zone.
But my passion was DXing and Contesting, so on March 1990 I
enjoy my first Contest, the "CQ WW WPX SSB" as SOAB Low Power,
very beautyfull experience, with my Kenwood 440 and a
multiband dipole and so on on other contest.
Also in 1990 during the World's Football Championship I had
been authoryzed to sign my callsign as IK7NXU/I90 and
partecipate to the Award: "WORKED FOOTBALL COUNTRIES"
organized by A.R.I.

In 1992 I had win the 2nd Place in "CQ WW WPX SSB CONTEST"
for the SINGLE OPERATOR - ALL BANDS division for ITALY  with a
score of 211,888 pts.

In 1993 I had win the 2nd Place - Low Power in "CQ WW WPX SSB
CONTEST" for the SINGLE OPERATOR - ALL BANDS division for
ITALY with a score of 326,186 pts.

At the end of 1993 I purchase the "PacketCLuster" software by
Pavillon and on Jan. 15 1994 start the operation "IK7NXU-6
DXCLUSTER" mixing so the  passion with Packet.
