IK1HGE Contest Activity

I bought a Yaesu FT-100D and began operating /P because I couldn't set my own shack at home. I was more interested in V-UHF (50MHz & up) frequencies. Thus I needed to reach the top of the mountains with my equipment and antennas (in Piedmont, NW Italy, we have plenty of mountains...) Well, since my old car (the wonderful R4) wasn't the best in class for this kind of trips...

I Decided to buy a new car, much better car, and also a more efficient antenna rotor, as you can see...

I partecipate to some contests only because that's the only way I can have a statistically consistent feedback about my home made antennas and equipment. Actually, I only partecipated to a couple of contests, so far. However, if you hear me calling CQ CONTEST, don't hesitate, just call me back!
