My name is Giovanni Rainone.
My actual job is Engineeering manager in a EXIDE Europe plant
producing industrial lead acid batteries.
I'm a Licensed Amateur since 1975, but i started to play with electronics
since 12 years old,following my father pioneering radio hobby.
My interests are Dx-ing and homebuilding of any radio-related
devices. I'm particularly interested to synergies between Radio and Computers.
I've achieved the DXCC Honor Roll on both Phone and Mixed branch since
1990 using always simple verticals and limited power P.A. Now i'd
like to catch the last 4 countries, but i believe that the QSO with Kingman
Reef using verticals will be a really hard story nowaday....
