Notes from the planning (as of July 18th, 2001):
Good news from the Hotel.
The Manager said yes, at least for the vertical antenna installation.
I will fix it to the roof terrace banister, and this sounds good!
I hope to be able to install a dipole for 80m too, otherwise, my R7 and
the matching unit will put a poor signal out there,
I will know the reality just on site,
The plane will be delayed till the afternoon, so I will arrive late in the
evening.
It seems I can't be on the air until the 24th.
Notes from the planning (as of June 28th, 2001):
First check with the Hotel Management was NOT successfull!
It will take more time to convince them I will not cause any type of
damage or will not hurt anybody with the antenna installation
and with my activity.
I'm crossing my fingers....and hope they will understand.
Frequencies.
(1837, 3527, 7027, 7067, 10107, 14027, 14257/267 (14197), 18077, 18147,
21257/267 (21297), and so on)
(QSX will be 2-3 Kc. up, CW, and 3-5 up SSB)
I will operate around the usual IOTA frequencies and sometime around the main DX
window, trying those one ending in 7 ( + or - qrm!).
