I was born in Roma in 1944, then , after 1955, I have lived in San Marino (T7), where I graduated from the Classic High School in 1963.
I moved again to Roma in 1966, working at a primary Bank.
Now I'm retired and I'm living on a little cottage in Ladispoli (RM) at half mile from the beach.
A special thanks to Ivo - T77I  ( ex M1I ) - who gave me the hamming interest during my young age.
I got my first transmitting license in 1973, after two years as a SWL and I immediately became interested in long distance contacts.
Since then I've been present in major contests in order to improve my technical skills.
I've had the opportunity to take part as a guest operator in HV3SJ  -  M1Y  -  T7ØA  -  T77GM  activities between 1975 and 1995.
On these occasions I hope to have enabled many others to work on a new one!
I'm one of the founders of the Roman DX Group, together with IØJBL and many other roman DXers, with the aim of promoting amateur radio activity, mainly concerning DX.
Since 1995 my activity has become less intense, because I've spent my free time listening to and discussing with my computer and forwarding QSLs as a qsl manager.
