The Tower Project
On this page you can see pictures of my antenna and tower. Some pictures were taken during the construction phase which show the rather elaborate foundation that was required at my QTH.
Currently the antenna system comprises a 2 element lightning bolt quad for 20m, 15m and 10m mounted at the top of the 24 metre self supporting tower. Since the last pictures were taken I have added a 40m dipole at approximately 19 metres and a 20m, 25, and 10m trapped dipole fixed half way up the tower.
The quad is rotated by a Yaesu G800SDX rotator fitted with the computer interface and driven by the logging software.
