Here is a picture of my Collins equipment. Though none of this would ever qualify as being collector quality it is in good working condition and still looks very nice. All of the items were in poor condition and have been restored by me over the last few years. The D104 microphone was purchased at Dayton 03 by my good friend Sam, HS0ZDY, on my behalf and complements the line well. The keyer was made by Derek, G3KHZ, including all the paddle parts.

This is the Collins KWM-2A. It has factory modifications up to 8B and seems to be of early 1970's vintage. Several repairs have been necessary with the transceiver, notably the replacement of the 820 ohm resistor in the screen supply and replacing  a couple of valves (tubes). It now works very well, is sensitive and sounds good on SSB with it's ubiquitous mechanical filter. The case has been repainted, new feet and dial inserts fitted and a lot of elbow grease.

The 30L-1 above was a lucky swap, for an almost identical but winged emblem model. It is almost as it left the factory but for a new set of valves (tubes) recently fitted.

The extremely useful 312B-5 provides increased functionality for the KWM-2A allowing split frequency working. I need to align the dial mechanism as it is a few KHz off at the moment.
