About our Family

We both hail from the state of Florida. I am from Eustis, Florida, and Jeanette is from Stuart, Florida. We were married in the summer of 1989 not long after I joined the Army in 1988.

My job is as a Euphonium player for the U.S. Army Band, a job that I have held for over 10 years now. Most people have no idea what a Euphonium is, so I have provided a couple of links to answer your questions! I have been involved in music for 22 years now, and I still enjoy to play.

We have been stationed at Ft. Stewart, Georgia, Ft. Benning, Georgia, and Ft. Clayton, Republic of Panama. I have also spent time at Ft. Dix, New Jersey, Little Creek Naval Base, Virginia, as well as a short vacation to Saudia Arabia. We will be moving to Bad Kreuznach, Germany in July of this year! We are very much looking forward to some cooler weather.

Jeanette worked for over 10 years with J.C. Penney's and enjoyed the job very much. Everwhere the Army has sent us, she had been able to transfer to a new Penney's. Well, our move to Panama in 1996 wouldn't work so well, so she had to hang up Penney's for a while.

Kristin was born in September of 1997 here in Panama. She has been a blast! She is very active and if you have ever listened to my QSO's for longer than a few minutes, I am sure you have heard her in the background!

Jeanette and I are both licensed Hams. Jeanette holds a Technician Class, KF4WMQ, and I hold an Extra Class, KF4MIR. Jeanette eventually plans to upgrade as she is working on the code for the general. We will both be getting new reciprocal calls as soon as we get to Germany.

Here are some recent photos that we place here, mainly for our relatives back home in the U.S., but we hope that everyone enjoys them.
