The April HIARC program was “High Frequency Communications – An Introductory Overview – Who, What, and Why?.” We had a good turnout too: 19 people. Bill explain the secant rule for selecting HF frequencies and played recordings of many commercial and military data modes. Bill Foose’s HF presentation is posted at the HIARC web site:The next HIARC club meeting is May 10, 2012 at Meemaw’s Barbecue on Babcock Street. Supper starts at 6:00 PM, and the formal meeting is at 7:00 PM.
