Results of The 2009 HIARC Field Day

The 2009 HIARC Field Day was held at the Grant Community Club Fairgrounds in Grant-Valkaria, FL, with the following results:

Phone QSO's: 453
Bonus Points: 1330
Score: 4940

HIARC received our full submitted FD score of 4940 points.  We finished 2nd in category 2A in the SFL section to AC4XQ who had 5312 points. We placed 7th in the SE Division, and 71st in the country in 2A!

The Harris/Intersil Amateur Radio Club (HIARC) resides on the central east coast of Florida in the city of Palm Bay.  HIARC presently includes approximately 50 members.

Club Meetings: Second Thursday of Every Month at the Palm Bay Golden Corral (880 Palm Bay Rd NE), across from Walmart.  Supper is at 6:00 PM, and a short business meeting is at 7:00 PM.  Our programs start around 8:00 PM.

Membership: Voting membership is available to current and former employees of Harris Corporation, Intersil, and their family members. An amateur radio license is not required.  To join, simply complete a club membership application and mail it to the address provided.
