Transmitter: selfoscillating RS242 tube driving two RS242 for PA
PA RF output: ca.15 watts for CW and 8 Watts for AM phone
Receiver: superhet RX with RF stage, selfoscillating mixer, 2 IF stages followed by an audion
Sensitivity: 1uV by 10dB S+N/N in telegrapy-mode
AM-Modulator and TX/RX switch with TX sidetone: done by 2 RE084 tubes
Antenna: 9meter longwire on 2 masts with 3meter hight tuned to PA via the variometer
It sounds chirpy, like early russian rigs
But I made more than 50 european countries yet
