This was a special business meeting called by the President.
Our paycheck from the BARC Hamfest arrived. Nice!
We decided to abandon the new web site hosted by NING. It has simply become too expensive. We will return to the old site on QSL.net. If you are reading this, then the update has been done. Messaging will be done on the club e-mail reflector. Facebook was discussed as a possible replacement for both the club web site and the e-mail reflector. For the moment, we will stick with the old arrangement. Let us know what you think about giving Facebook a try.
Field Day is fast approaching. There is considerable interest in the club participating but we are having trouble nailing down the amount of participation. The number of members that will spend the entire night is the most pressing concern. If several people do not spend the night we will have to tear the station down Saturday evening. That is too much effort for a couple of hours in the park with a radio. We need to know who is planning to be there all night!
