Joe, N3MKE, had recently acquired new Isotron antennas for 80 and 40 meters. Since none of us had ever seen these antennas, we accepted his challenge to help assembly them.

It is only a coil but Andy, AF3I, discovered there are actually a top and a bottom. Otherwise the 40 meter antenna went together easily. |
We got both antennas together. They must be mounted on a mast to work so we had no way to test them. So we just drank the coffee, ate the cookies and congratulated ourselves on our wonderful work.
