July 2007 Business Meeting

July 12, 2007.

The N3KZS Repeater Tour and Club Picnic was sparsely attended. But those who did attend had a wonderful picnic and dynamite tour of the repeater main site.

Field Day was an big success. Everyone agreed that this was the best Field Day we have had. The pictures arrived at this meeting. Your faithful scribe will re-write the Field Day page as soon as time permits. Meanwhile, enjoy the "full text" version.

Bingo starts later this month. Everything seems to be ready. All we need is HELP! We are particularly short on helpers for Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

The Baltimore Amateur Radio Club, BARC, has invited us to join them during the Maryland-DC QSO Party. We have no other plans for this contest.

Our expectations for our Mini Tail Gate Fest is very low for this year. Carroll County has scheduled their Mini Tail Gate Fest for the same day. Nevertheless we are ready to go. As always, we need the most help from about 7 to 9 a.m. Coffee and donuts will be served at 5:30 a.m.

The August meeting is one of our "no business, all Ham Radio" meetings. The featured program will be on VHF /UHF Operating and Contesting. Joe, K3CAR, and Andy, AF3I, are putting together the multi-media presentation. Mark your calendar now.
