The arrangements are complete for the January "Lets Party" meeting are complete.   See the January Meeting web page for details.   We always have a good time at these gatherings.   I can't think of any reason that this year will be any different.

Mike,   N3KTX,   is updating the flyer for our 2005 Mini Tail Gate Fest.   Copies should be available at the next meeting.   The date is August 21,   2005.

Draft copies of the 2005 calendar web pages - the stuff you are reading right now - were passed around for review.   There were no changes offered so they will be uploaded soon after January 1st.   The details are nearly complete up to June.   I really do not anticipate many changes to those pages.   After that,   beginning with Field Day to be exact,   we will make changes as planning progresses.

The plans for the 10 Meter Contest were outlined.   See the 10 Meter Contest web page for the details.   We have a KW station with a 3 element yagi at 100 feet to work with.   Thanks Ron.   After the meeting we adjourned to Ron's,   WAØOJS,   and connected the computer with lots of neat bells and whistles.   We had no takers to set up a Packet DX Spotting Network.   Packet would have been the only way to get the DX spots at the Fire House.   But here we have access to the Internet and that is what we will use.   We had no takers for a "Contest Cam."   You will just have to come by and see what is going on.   Likewise we had no takers for a photographer.   I will bring my digital camera.   Past experience shows that I get involved with the contest and forget to take pictures.   Somebody remind me.   The contest is this weekend - June 10,   11 and   12.   The whole intent of this effort is for all of our members to come by and operate.   See you there.

After the meeting we ate all of those chocolate covered ice cream on a stick thingies.   Then we went to Ron's QTH to set up for the contest.
