F.A.R.fest

Saturday and Sunday, September 8-9, 2007

The Foundation for Amateur Radio (FAR) has yet to find a location for the 2007 F.A.R.fest. Negotiations with the Gaithersburg fairgrounds have completely failed. They are looking at several possibilities. The dates are certain. The location and nature of the event are still being worked out. Do not be surprised for them to set up some sort of giant tailgate fest this year. Next year expect a full blown hamfest. The Foundation will announce their plans as soon as possible.

Our Club is a member of the Foundation. Our participation in F.A.R.fest this year is unknown at this time.
