Mako Radio Amateur Club invites all ham and CB operators, Short Wave Listeners and their family and friends to attend our fifth annual meeting.
The location is the youth camp by the beach of river Maros in Mako (KN06GF).
Mako is located in the South-Eastern part of Hungary, close to the Romanian and Yugoslavian borders. The river's sand has medical properties and this meeting provides the attendants a good opportunity of relaxing, enjoyment of the lovely environment, getting a suntan, or playing tennis...
In the previous years we had a very good attendance with ham operators coming from Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia and other countries. If you happen to be around, you are welcomed to meet hams from the region.
Beside of having a large area for camping (tents), there is a limited number of log cabins available -- all for very reasonable (non-profit) price.
